The Zimbabwe Women’s Resource Centre and Network (ZWRCN) is a women’s information organisation with a focus on collection, analysis, processing and dissemination of information on gender and development.

The organisation’s strategic interventions aim to empower women, strengthen inter-organisational networking of gender and development agencies and promote the women’s movement in Zimbabwe.

Biodiversity Foundation For Africa Bfa, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, West Africa

The BFA is a Zimbabwe-registered non-profit Trust formed in Bulawayo in 1992 by a group of scientists and environmentalists. The group works in collaboration with scientists and institutions in the south and central African region, UK and the USA.

It consists of a number of professional affiliates internationally recognised in their fields. Most are taxonomists and ecologists based in the region.

Among them, these individuals have many years of experience in their discipline and access to a wide knowledge base, much of which has not been formally published.

Zimbabwe Election Support Network [zesn], Harare, Zimbabwe, West Africa

The Zimbabwe Election Support Network (ZESN) formed in 2000 is a coalition of 36 non-governmental organisations formed to co-ordinate activities pertaining to elections.

The major focus of the Network is to promote democratic processes in general and free and fair elections in particular.

It was also established to standardise the NGOs election related activities and methodology as well as to ensure wider geographical coverage and co-ordination of activities.

The broad aim of the Network was therefore to enhance the election process in Zimbabwe in order to promote democracy and good governance in general as well as free and fair elections in particular whilst adhering to internationally acceptable standards.

SAFOD supports and encourages the formation of disabled peoples’ organisations (DPO) and strengthen the existing ones. SAFOD is the regional representative of Southern Africa to the world-wide movement of people with disabilities, Disabled Peoples’ International (DPI).

SAFOD work to Helpe society to transform itself into a new society where all people, including disabled people, women and workers, men and children, are treated with dignity, respect and on the basis of equality
